Banner ads turn 25

RPA Ad Agency got its start making banner ads. So we took a playful trip down memory lane by creating a human banner ad.

Meet Joe Banner, a walking, talking banner ad. In his early years he was annoying, impossible to ignore and pretty unlikeable. But as technology got smarter, so did Joe (thank god).

It's the banner ad's 25th anniversary! We might never see the 44% click-through rate of the first one, but a #PeopleFirst approach values helping brands make valuable connections over just counting clicks. https://www.rpa.com/
While it's true that lots of people (30%) are using ad blockers on their desktops today, by putting #PeopleFirst, we can aim to make ads that actually inspire viewers to buy instead of block. https://www.rpa.com/
Retargeting banners walk a fine line between being helpful and being harassing. Put #PeopleFirst to generate ads that respectfully reach people with the right messaging, at the right time in their shopping journey. https://www.rpa.com/
Just because the tech for pop-up ads exists, doesn't mean we should use it. All digital ads can be relevant to the audience seeing them if we put #PeopleFirst. https://www.rpa.com/
